"Big Mama"
Un cœur sur pattes, d'une douceur telle qu'on l'appelle tendrement "Big Mama".
Naïa a été sauvée de maltraitance par l'association amie La Lumière des Chevaux et est venue chez nous en 2011 avec son poulain Biham. Elle qui ne portait plus, qui ne produisait plus, qui devait pour cela partir à la boucherie, a craqué pour Marinero et a fait avec lui un autre poulain, Enir né en 2014. C'est ce qui a d'ailleurs réglé durablement ses problèmes hormonaux ! Entre-temps, elle est devenue la chérie de Natarajah, son Prince consort dont elle est inséparable.
C'est en arrivant chez nous que Naïa a appris ce que c'est que d'être aimée et chouchoutée et elle nous le rend bien. Fini son regard méfiant, son attitude de fuite. A la place : plaisir de nous voir et de partager promenades et plus.
En effet, c'est sur le tard que Naïa a appris qu'elle pouvait être montée et qu'il est plaisant de se promener ou de jouer avec les gens, surtout avec les enfants.
Si Naïa a hérité du nom d'une magicienne bretonne, il est bien vrai qu'elle nous a tous ensorcelés à l'aimer, sans exception !
Nata's great love
She is a sweetheart, a heart on four legs, she is incredibly large and incredibly gentle. This is why we tenderly call her "Big Mama".
Naïa had been saved from human cruelty in 2011 by our partner association La Lumière des Chevaux, which means "A light for Horses". At that time, she had not come in foal again, she was no longer useful for animal production and so she was bound to go to the slaughterer. We adopted her and her foal Biham. Two years later she cracked for Marinero's charm which cured her hormonal disorders by having a foal with him, Enir de Pegaso born in 2014.
But her real true love is Natarajah, her Prince consort, and since they fell in love, which can be absolutely true for animals, they are living side by side, heart to heart, not to be seperated.
When Naïa arrived, she learned how good it feels to be loved and cherished, fed, brushed and stroked. She lost her looks of anguish and mistrust and started waiting for us to come and spend time with her. Naïa has learnt late that as a horse she can accept people on her back and that it is pleasant to learn and play together. She loves it, especially with children, and even more so if Natarajah her sweetheart also comes along.
Naïa is the name of a mystical Breton magician, and it is true that our Naïa has bewitched us all with her tenderness.
