Bel' Altaïr
Une qui vient de loin ...
Bel'Altaïr a été orpheline à quatre mois.
Contre toute attente, sa vieille mère Bélica, compagne inséparable de son beau Marinero qui, lui aussi, l’aimait tendrement, elle était retombée portante sur la fin de sa vie. Comme si elle voulait à travers sa dernière vaincre la maladie chronique qui la consumait, la piroplasmose. Et il est vrai qu’on dirait qu’Altaïr est venue au monde avec une sacrée résistance à cette maladie qui avait déjà, dans une crise foudroyante, fauché sa petite sœur Thi Amat. Une vie pour prendre la revanche sur la mort…
Courageuse et une vraie battante, elle a été élevée par son demi-frère Lascar Lone Wolf secondé par « tonton » Gärpur, le petit Islandais. Altaïr a toujours été à la fois proche de nous, pouliche de rêve de Claudéa, et indépendante. Elle a aussi fait briller les yeux de Lilli, la pianiste de notre groupe, qui en était tombée amoureuse et dont elle a accompagné les rêves jusqu’au dernier souffle. Comme son nom le dit si bien, Altaïr l’étoile de l’Aigle vient bien de très loin.
En 2021, Altaïr est devenue mère d'une magnifique pouliche, Luz de las Estrellas, qui est partie chez sa copropriétaire, administratrice de l'association, pour bénéficier d'une éducation et d’une vie adaptées à sa nature.
Altaïr est très douce et communicative et a un besoin viscéral qu'on s'occupe d'elle. Pour pouvoir vivre une vie active, elle a rejoint depuis décembre 2022 le troupeau de notre vice-présidente et accompagnatrice à Hourtin-Plage et à conquis sa place de Reine dans le cœur de Marie-Jeanne.
Belica's last love
When she was only four months old, Bel'Altaïr lost her mother.
Against all odds, her old mother Belica, inseperable love of her tender Marinero, and although she did not seem to come into foal any longer, had yet become pregnant again at the end of her life. It was as if she wanted to vanquish the piroplasmosis desease that was killing her, throught her last filly. It is true that Altaïr seems to have come into this life with a solid resistance against this desease that killed her little sister Thi Amat. A new life to take its revenge on death ...
Altaïr was remarquably courageous, a real fightor, a survivor. She was brought up by her half-brother Lascar one Wolf and little Gärpur. Altaïr has always been close to us, is Claudeas dream horse, and yet she is very independant. She has also brought joy to the old life of our groups pianist Lilly whose dreams she filled until Lilly's last breath. As her name says, she is Altaïr, the Eagle's star, and she comes from afar.
In 2021, Altaïr has become mother of a beautiful filly, Luz de las Estrellas, Starlight, who has been entrusted to her co-owner and administrator of the association in oder to have a perfect education and the activity her nature requires.
Altaïr is a tender and communicative horse and has a strong need of sharing humans' lives and activities. In oder to give her the life she craves for, she has joined, in december 2022, the group of active horses of our equestrian guide in Hourtin-plage and has conquered a very special place in Mary-Jeanne's heart.
